Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Having a healthy breakfast plays a crucial role in maintaining energy levels throughout the day. An all fruit breakfast has several benefits over other breakfasts comprising of cereals, milk, eggs, etc. It is beneficial to consume high energy fruits like apples, pears, bananas and blueberries. One of the greatest advantages of an all fruit breakfast is weight loss and detox. Fruits that have high water content like watermelon also tend to have a similar effect.


A healthy breakfast should contain fruits or vegetables, low-fat protein and dairy and whole grains, according to the Mayo Clinic. This combination of fiber, complex carbohydrates, protein and a small amount of fat will help provide the nutrients you need for good health and keep you from getting hungry too quickly. A healthy breakfast may help you to concentrate, aid in your weight-loss efforts and keep you from going through a mid-morning slump.

Healthy Breakfast Ideas


Organic Oatmeal – If you’re into a warm, soft and comforting bowl of oatmeal, go for it. Mix in fruit like raisins, bananas, cherries or whatever fruit you like.


Veggie Omelette (mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, etc. – add cheese if desired)


Yogurt with fruit – choose a plain yogurt, add your favorite fruit and seeds or nuts and maybe a splash of organic honey.


Breakfast Burrito – salsa, potatoes, scrambled eggs, cilantro, cooked pinto or black beans wrapped in an organic whole wheat tortilla.


Breakfast Smoothies or Juices – mix your favorite fruit and maybe add a little milk or yogurt, pack a handful of nuts to crunch on while drinking your yummy breakfast smoothie.

Fruit is one of the components of a healthy breakfast because it provides vitamins, minerals, water and fiber. Fiber which helps promote normal digestive patterns and contributes to lower cholesterol levels. The vitamins and minerals help you to meet your daily requirements for these nutrients, which is hard to do if you skip breakfast.

  1. everymorning i always have egg omelette with button mushrooms, garlic, bellpepper, long green chilli's and onions they're so yummy! i love burritos too and shake! For afternun snacks i always oatmeal with bluebrries xx

  3. I don't eat fruits for breakfast (bad me!), but my parents do. But I do love eating fruits especially seedless grapes, fuji apples, mango, etc.
